The UK’s largest independent travel agent wanted to enhance its customer service by developing a bespoke app to boost customer loyalty. Their objectives included addressing customer journey priority areas; improving post-booking engagement; aligning app functionality with customer expectations and supporting Hays Travel’s broader tech transformation goals.

Objectives

The development process was informed by in-depth mapping of customer journeys, feedback from internal trials, and alignment with strategic ambition. The app enhances key customer touch points by centralising travel management, offering secure payment options, and the addition of holiday extras. It also features interactive elements and integrates with Hays Travel agents to complement in-branch services.
